About Embark
First and foremost we're a grassroots organization dedicated to improving the lives of pets. We're always working to expand our network to rescue animals from all over the country.
What We Do
Embark provides aid to animals in need, regardless of where that need is. We provide a safe environment for animals in need of a home as we provide medical care and socialization, as well as rehabilitation as necessary to ensure all the animals that pass through our care are ready for their forever homes.
Who We Are
Embark is an independently-run, self-financing nonprofit animal shelter focused on extending aid and ensuring the welfare of dogs by providing care for animals, education for responsible pet ownership, and conducting outreach to the network of animal shelters across the country.
We're in the process of getting approval for our 501(c)-3 application, expected early 2024. In the meantime, we're still doing the work that matters.
